The recipe for Citadelle Gin was developed by a distillery in Dunkirk in 1771. It is distilled in a cognac still from the Grande Champagne region of Cognac in France. The gin is a blend of 19 botanicals, with heavy juniper focus mellowing into a blend of floral, citrus and spice notes. Pefect in martinis and classic gin cocktails.

Great gin. Fairly tradiitonal flavours (nothing particularly unsual) but done really well. Good aromatics and very smooth.
