Focus Offers Archive

Our list of Focus Offers increases steadily month by month and over time the wines described in the offers change vintage or price or simply become unavailable. However, because we aim to establish long term relationships with the featured estate or region - indeed many of the wines listed have become firm favourites - it seems a shame not to retain the background information on the web-site.
So we have created this Archive section of previous offers, which whilst no longer available, do give you useful information about the wines, the winemakers and the estates from which they come. By clicking on the link a pdf version of the offer will be produced in a new window.

Les Deux Rhones from Stephane Vedeau

Les Deux Rhones from Stephane Vedeau
The wines of Les Deux Rhones are produced by the multi-award winning winemaker Stephane Vedeau. He uses the Deux Rhones label for the US market, but a cancelled order meant that he had stock to move at a good price and we were in the right place at the right time. Our offer comprises the Cotes du Rhone Villages and his stunning Chateauneuf-du-Pape with savings of up to 25% on their original prices. With Bordeaux prices going through the roof, now is the time to stock up on some great value wines from the Rhone valley. More...

Chateau Musar, Lebanon
Chateau Musar, with its vineyards in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley, is a legendary producer. This is partly due to the hair-raising tales of making wine in the middle of a war zone and partly due to the amazing quality of the wines. So, working closely with the estate itself, we have produced a feature on the wines of Chateau Musar and we are particularly proud to make the first offer of Musar Jeune wines in this country. more...

These are interesting and individual wines that have rarely been seen in this country and we are able to offer them at superb prices, even before our generous discounts. more...

In an extensive tasting of the Chile’s premium wines, we found three producers whose wines stood out: Cousiño-Macul, one of Chile’s oldest estates, Viña Chocalán, a new venture in the Maipo Valley, and Concha y Toro, a large producer known for their highly drinkable entry-level wines, but also making some excellent premium wines. Domaines de Baunard Domaines de Baumard
We are delighted to be able offer the wines from this prestigious domaine, situated on the north bank of the Loire, west of Angers. Florent Baumard's Savennières, particularly from the Clos du Papillon vineyard, is one of the world's greatest dry white wines. Indeed prior to the First World War, it was more expensive than Montrachet! Baumard is also renowned for his Coteaux du Layon and Quarts de Chaume. These are some of France's most undervalued sweet whites and a must for all lovers of dessert wine. more...
