Fine Wine List - December 2011
Welcome to our selection of fine wines for Winter 2011/12 with over 100 wines. There are many definitions of ‘Fine’, but we apply the term to limited production wines that cost more than £12 a bottle. We do not include ‘trophy’ or investment wines; this is a list of wines for drinking and though they are not cheap, their quality gives value for money. Please note that all stocks are limited but where we have less than 12 bottles, the wine is marked Ø. Part 1 of the list comprises fine wines from France, whilst Part 2 covers the Rest of the World and Part 3 sparkling, fortified and dessert wines and Armagnac.
For December we have new Fine Wine List that includes wines where we have just a few bottles as well as recent arrivals. The latter range from Crozes Hermitage and St Joseph to Bacalhoa’s Moscatel, winner of the Decanter International Trophy for the best sweet fortified wine under £10.
Part 1 - Fine French Wines
Part 2 - Fine Wines from the Rest of the World
Part 3 - Fine Sparkling, Fortified and Dessert Wines and Armagnac
New Additions - Fine wines from around the world including Champagne, Fortified Wines and Armagnac
